Counselling for Individuals

You might feel caught in patterns you don’t understand, struggle to know what you want or need, or find yourself reacting in ways you don’t really choose. Sometimes these difficulties show up mainly within yourself; sometimes they might play out in relationships.
You might be experiencing…
- shame, self-doubt or feeling “too much”
- emotional reactions that are difficult to understand
- uncertainty about what you want, need or feel
- difficulty expressing needs or boundaries
- questions or difficulties around intimacy, closeness or desire
- recurring conflict or painful patterns in relationships
- wanting to communicate more honestly without losing yourself or the relationship
What we can explore together
Counselling offers a space to slow things down and become curious about what is happening. We can explore the feelings, needs, beliefs and patterns underneath your experience, and develop greater awareness of what matters to you.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling.
You might know exactly what you want help with, or simply know that something isn’t working and you want space to understand it. We can start there.
How I work
My foundation is person-centred counselling. I also draw on Nonviolent Communication, Focusing, somatic awareness, Internal Family Systems and trauma-informed approaches where these are useful to the work we are doing together.
