Conflict Support for Communities and Organisations

When tension builds in a group, it can become difficult to talk about what is really happening. I support communities and organisations to stay in dialogue and work through conflict in a way that allows for more understanding and collaboration.

Working together with others can be deeply meaningful — and also complex.

Differences in needs, values and communication styles can lead to tension, misunderstandings or conflict. When these are not addressed, they often build over time and affect trust, collaboration and the overall health of the group.

I offer support for groups who want to engage with these dynamics in a constructive way.

You might be experiencing

  • ongoing tensions or unresolved conflicts
  • communication breakdowns within the group
  • difficulties making decisions together
  • strong emotions that are hard to express or receive
  • a sense that something is “off” but hard to name

How I work

My role is to support the group in staying in dialogue, especially when things feel difficult.

Depending on the situation, this might include:

  • facilitated group conversations
  • conflict mediation between individuals
  • structured processes to explore underlying tensions
  • support for communication and decision-making

I draw on Nonviolent Communication, restorative practices and my experience working with groups in conflict.

What becomes possible

With the right support, groups can begin to:

  • address tensions more openly
  • understand different perspectives more clearly
  • rebuild trust
  • develop more effective ways of communicating
  • work together with greater clarity and alignment

Practicalities

Each situation is different. I offer an initial conversation to understand your needs and explore whether working together would be helpful.
